What do you guys think of these self-cleaning litter boxes? I’m not planning on buying one. They dont really look that safe to me. What if the cat is in there doing its business and the thing just turns on and starts cleaning the box while the cats in there?

We’re getting really sick of cleaning kitty’s mess on a daily basis. It bothers us also that as he jumps out of his litter, he spreads the mess all over the house. I hear that with the Scoop Free Self-Cleaning Litter Box you only have to clean the mess every 15 days or so. If this is true, I would think that buying the product is worth it. I know that it’s pricey, but we really don’t mind if it really WORKS. Please, only to those of you who have experience with automatic litter boxes, would you say that they are worth it? And if so, what are some pros and cons of them?
Has anyone ever used the self cleaning litter box from abc distributing?? I like the idea of not having to actually scoop it and the electric ones scar the cats. I just wanted to see if anyone has used it before I purchase – thanks!

I know it’s a big responsibility having a dog but when you work and go to school at the same time it is difficult to take the pet outside every 3 hrs. I guess it’s a matter of teaching the pet to go potty in a designated area in the house. I will probably later invest in a toilet seat made speacially for dogs it’s really cool. I was reading about it. It’s just like out toilet it flushes down and everything. It’s about 700.00 dollars though. If anyone has done this please give me some feedback.
