Whats your favorite cat litter?

I just got one of the Litter Maid Self Cleaning litter boxes and it says to use premium clumping cat litter. So i wondering what other people like to use. In normal boxes or the self cleaning. I also need something that will cut down on order.

I bought a litter maid self cleaning litter box on line, a few months ago, and it recently quit working. I was in Pet Smart one day last week, and after telling him what happened, I asked a salesman for his suggestions. He told me that I could bring it back to the store, even though I didn’t even buy it there, and I could get store credit for my old one, toward the purchase of a new one. I was amazed that any company would do something so wonderful. But, today I brought my old one to the store, and all I needed was a piece of paper that I printed off the internet, which showed what I paid for the old one. They gave me credit for the entire price I paid for the old one, and the new one (a better model) only cost me ten dollars and some change. How many other companies treat their customers that way? I bet they even treat their employees that well, too! I will never buy my cat supplies anywhere else, again.
This is politics because it is about how most companies and large corporations tend to put the bottom line ahead of everything, including their customers and the people who work for them. Politics is anything that concerns the quality of life for all, whether it be moral issues, or jobs, or the economy, or poverty or any number of any issues that concern people. It is been highly unusual, in my experience to deal with a company that really cares about people, knows that you get back tenfold what you give. Too many companies are downsizing these days, or cutting benefits and claiming that the little people have to make these sacrifices so that the company can remain competative, and the little people can keep their jobs.

I just want to tell the world that I found out today, that not all companies are greedy and selfish an corrupt. And if this is not part politics, I don’t know what is.

I have one closet in the living room, well two, but a heater is taking up one and I can’t close the door to where it is.. umm…I don’t want it out in the open. We don’t have a basement. hmmm..She is very messy! Not in the kitchen, yuck! umm.. no room in the bathroom. Maybe it should be in a closet! Oy, we have no room for this thing! I was thinking of getting a litter maid… That self cleaning litter box. But where the heck do we do it!?

What is the best automatic litter box?

I have two cats, and me and my husband work at least 45-60 hrs per week. By the time the weekend rolls around we are exhausted. To make things easier and smell nicer, I have decided to buy a automatic cleaning litter box. I owned the basic old school litter-maid at one point, until my cat James ate through the cord the powered the rake (this is when littermaid first came out I think, 5-6 years ago). I was looking at boxes online and am surprised their is alot more kinds than just the litter maid to choose from. Does anyone one have or has had a self-cleaning litter box. Would you recommend it, and how did it work out for you. Thank you :)

Self Cleaning Litter Boxes?

I am seriously considering a self cleaning litter box for my 2 kitties. There is, to my surprise, quite a selection out there! From what I understand, thus far~ Litter Maid is not a good choice, Scoop Free seems to have the most "good" reviews, Cat Genie & Litter Robot are ridiculous as far as price, Purrforma & Smart Scoop are kind of 1/2 & 1/2 on reviews, Litter Free company seems to either be out of business or they are now Cat Genie, Litter Sweep has mainly good reviews. . . . .

Has anyone ever tried a self cleaning litter box? Anyone have any recommendations? Honestly, my main "concern" is the smell factor~ of course I don’t enjoy cleaning litter boxes and if I can get one that will do it for me~ AWESOME! I just want to eliminate the litter box smell in my house; 2 cats= extra poo! However, I don’t want to spend $$ on a litter box that is going to die on me in a couple months.

Thanks!

How to fix a automatic litter box?
